Over the past weeks we have explored a holistic practice to develop wellness. By now we can appreciate that yoga is not focused on weight loss as much as it is on trying to live well.
The healthier path is certainly trying to develop life-long wellness habits rather than looking for rapid weight loss. By focusing on our vision of health and happiness, and then being more conscious of our eating and exercise - we can work towards a healthier and more balanced weight physically.
In this week's class we develop the appreciation that the ideal weight for us is when we are striving for optimum wellness. It is about working towards balance, not trying to find a certain number on the scale or a particular jeans size.
