This is the final Facebook live video in the series focusing on anger. In it I share many of the same tools and contemplations that were explored in our coaching session in person.
It gives a clear path to finding resolution to your anger. I also took the opportunity to do a short meditation with those who were watching live. You can benefit from it as well.
Remember that making changes in yourself and in your life is a process.
It requires effort… diligence… and a willingness to change. But it is so worth it. When you see that you can become the master of your emotions, your mind… and understand your experiences deeply from a spiritual perspective…
There is nothing like that. It is so valuable… I wish that everyone could have that. That is why I share yoga and teach yoga.
Important points from the previous classes
First let me revisit the important points we have made so far. This is so that you can get a good picture of the process and how to apply it in your life.
First we need to look at the inner cause of anger. That we have unmet expectations.
That means that we hold an image of what we expect to see in the world within our mind… and when that way the world actually is does not match up… anger enters the picture.
Second we need to understand the purpose of anger… it is a kind of energy that allows us to make changes. It pushes us to change something inside or outside.
Since we know that the real issue is within us we… we want to discover what is it in me that I need to adjust…
Third we learned about witnessing and using the breath to begin working with energy.
This skill is something that we need to develop. Once we learn this we can actually begin changing our own energy patterns!
Digesting the expectations
In our previous discussions we began by increasing our awareness of our expectations. Now you need to digest these expectations.
That means you are trying to understand what the expectations mean. They are clues to understanding a deeper part of yourself.
When you realize that your expectation is actually an expression of something you are looking for that is when the opening or change will come.
Look at the expectation and try to understand what you are really seeking. What is that you want more of in your life.
Try to put it in terms of human value. I am looking for love, leadership, respect, integrity, just try to uncover what value you find is missing.

The wisdom of Yoga
What Yoga teaches us… all that we seek in the world is already a part of us. It is part of deeper nature, part of our spiritual self.
So when you have the expectation… that the world will provide this for me… that is a mistake in looking…
Really it is already a part of you… and we just need to uncover it… and express it in our lives…
Yoga is that process of uncovering and learning to express from the deepest part of ourselves… Yoga means union… it is us… reuniting with the deepest part of our being… where all these value are a natural part of us.
Once you do this… you will see that anger will be a distant memory. Because you will no longer be seeking it from someone outside of you.
