August , 2024. First time in Netherlands!

*****
Yoga Teacher Retreat for continued learning and exploration. Retreat is facilitated in English
What is the purpose of this retreat?
This retreat will offer clear and practical guidance on how to experience and cultivate the energy body using principles of Kundalini Maha Yoga. It serves to bridge the gap between the widespread physical practice of yoga asanas and the lesser known but deeply spiritual practices of the energy body.
You will have the opportunity to revisit (or perhaps learn for the first time) the spiritual mechanics of Yoga, to learn about your subtle energy body and become more aware of it. By learning to work with the subtle energy body you have greater ability to work with your spiritual power and intelligence.
As you awaken this deeper connection in yourself, we will explore together how it can be utilized in service, to support the greater spiritual awakening of your students and communities.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for yoga teachers who want to continue to grow their spiritual consciousness and learn useful skills to support their students in doing the same. It is for those who appreciate that being yoga teacher is not only about helping to improve the physical condition and wellness of their students, but also to facilitate spiritual learning and transformation.
We will explore deeper spiritual concepts of Yoga and how to take meaningful steps from the current physical practice into the spiritual dimension of experience.
What can you as a yoga teacher learn from Ved?
Ved holds intimate knowledge and experience of the spiritual aspects of Yoga cultivated from his lifelong association with the living Master Sri Vasudeva, intense spiritual exploration, dedicated yoga practice, and service as a yoga teacher.
He has great joy for practice, and exploring how the many dimensions of Yoga contribute to the wholeness of the spirit. He is able to express his technical knowledge of asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation directly and simply.
As a teacher his presence is comforting, lucid, and encouraging while imparting the essence of Yoga and facilitation.
What will we explore together?
This retreat will provide extensive exposure to many yogic practices to allow for inspired spiritual self-discovery.
On mornings there will be an integrated practice of yoga including – asana, pranayama, mantra, chanting, meditation and deep relaxation.
On afternoons there will be workshops exploring yogic concepts, self-study and personal reflections (svadhyaya), some partner or group exercises, discussions and meditation.
During morning practice there will be the opportunity for feedback and coaching in your personal practice. The afternoon workshops will weave together personal practice and guidance on how to facilitate in your own classes. See the retreat schedule for clarity on the topics we will explore.
