Yoga has helped me to become healthier, happier, and a better person. It can help you too. Through yoga you can develop good health so that you can have a longer and more fulfilling life. Regular practice also supports balanced emotions and a peaceful mind.
I promote the practice of yoga for cultivating energy awareness. Yoga has a rich mystical tradition of guiding us to unlock our hidden potential - awareness of our energy existence. This is the focus of my practice as I have been taught deep energy awareness and subtle energy management by my own master.

My Yoga Experience
I have been involved with yoga since I was five years old. My mother introduced my sister and me to the practice as children. When I attended university in the United States I also carried my interest in yoga there. I completed a degree in psychology and pursued an honours research project investigating the effect of yoga on the mind.
After returning home I spent time with my mother during her twilight years. When she passed I stayed at the Blue Star ashram learning yoga full-time. This helped me to cope with the sense of loss. During this time I developed my practice and began to teach.
For few years I had just one or two classes that I kept consistently and that helped me to become a better yoga teacher. Last year I visited India on a pilgrimage. This was a profound journey for me in connecting with the spiritual roots of yoga. Since returning I decide to begin teaching more classes and supporting others as they learn yoga.
At the start of 2016 I began taking on many more classes as I connected with more and more people of Trinidad. I continue to be inspired and motivated to demonstrate the power of yoga in supporting a balanced way of life. Yoga can help us to discover more about ourselves and to connect to the inner treasures that we all carry.
